Some of you guys might have already used or heard of this rom but for those who have not seen this rom,am sharing it as it it a verry nice one.This ROM was originally created by Sohan Rawat for Galaxy Y,but ported to galaxy pocket by teztaz--v3 of Xda developers,so thanks to both buddies for their work
Features :

* Zipalign
* Rooted
* BusyBox
* Bash Shell Support
* BusyBox run-parts suppor
* Full Support for Init.d scripts
* Superuser Access; Busybox Support.
Miscellaneous Features :
* Removed some bloatwares = more space
* Msg pop-up (v1 feature)
* System + user app installer
* new Beats Manager for awesome Music
* Smooth scrolling through disabled scrolling cache.
*Adrenaline + kuro tweaks + other tweaks (Droidwall,undervolt etc) = super fast engine
* Net buffer + netforks tweaks = High speed internet
* Original s3 sounds (ringtones etc) + fonts.
* Edt tweaks + battery bar tweaks = More customization
* No frills CPU + CPU SPY
* OTA support = Many more things yet to comes
HOW TO INSTALL:
* Place Remix v2 in the root of your Sdcard
* Reflash to stock ROM through odin .
* Reboot into Cwm recovery
* Wipe data and cache in cwm
* Mount system
* Format system
* Mount system
* Go to"install zip from SD"
* Select "choose zip from SDcard"
* Navigate through the folder where you have saved Remix v2
* Select Remix v2 and flash it,then wait till it finishes.
* Wipe data and cache again in cwm
* Reboot system and you are ok.(Takes about 3minutes to bpot after flashing rom so be patient.)

ReplyDeleteHave yoyu played gta 3 on your device with other rom.if it has been working before on other roms and has faled to run on remix rom then i think its a problem fom the rom.some roms play some games perfectly while they crash some games.

Download galaxy pocket firmeware and drivers install them on pc then extract downloaded files you will find odin install odin then instal pit files then flash.
can you state here the known bugs this rom have?

ReplyDeleteThose complaining about bugs. Admin is not responsible about bugs in roms he just post them, this is not a place to complain about bugs you can complain about bugs on developers forums.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure we all know that we were not gun pointed to flash this roms.
If you are gonna complain like I do at least name the good things like I do or good custom roms that work,and agree keep it in English.I suggest leaving your email so that people can respond in the language you request

Use file explore and install system ui app as system app go to the apk and install it will show "install app in system".

1.Flash ANY stock ROM through odin .
2.Root ur phone after flasing stock rom
3.Turn the phone completely off, When the phone is off press and hold VOLUME UP+CENTER KEY+POWERfor 5-10 secs
4.Now go to CWM MODE.
5.Do wipe data and cache
6.Mount system
7.Go to “Install zip from SD"
8.From there “Choose zip from SDcard”
9.Navigate through the folder where you have saved S5300_Remix_Plus_v2.5.zip
10.Choose S5300_Remix_plus_v2.5.zip
11.Now you are in aroma installer where touch is enabled. After accepting the agreement u will get some flashing options.
12. Flash Remix rom.
*Kernel (OPTIONAL.. XXLF5 stock kernel & vM00Kernelv1.10)
13. after flashing rom or kernel U can reboot ur device.

DeleteI have installed it in galaxy pocket and it working great. It has a pretty cool look and running smoothly and its fast. But funny thing is this ROM has a MAJOR bug. SIM cards can not be registered on network. And status bar says, "Emergency Calls Only". So this ROM is not suitable for daily use unless there any way to fix this bug.

I installed the room in my GT-S5300 and has a SIM error which says that does not register on the network. "Emergency Call Only". The Room I like and want to use it appreciate to help me with this problem.
