Jelly mod is a verry nice rom for galaxy pocket,lets take a look at the rom together.
Please Read Carefully, before You Start To Flash The Rom.

DOWNLOAD JellyMOD rv1.0
NOTE; You must DEODEX your rom before you flash the rom. If not, your Dialertab and Statbar will be gone.if you dont know how to flash you can
download DeodexDXLF2.zip
and flash it through CWM/Recovery.
note this deodex is for DXLF2 Firmware .After deodex you can flash JellyMOD Rv1.0 If you already use Custom ROM like Revencis.v3.0,v3.5 or any makdroid rom, You can directly flashJellyMOD Rv1.0 from CWM without deodexing
INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. Copy JellyMOD Rv1.0.zip to internal memory
2. Go to recovery mode (Vol-up +
Home + Power)
3. Choose apply Update from SD card
4. Select CWM for pocket (You can use VM00CWM.zip file.
5. Install from SD card
6. Choose JellyMOD Rv1.0.zip &
install
7. Please wait... for completion....
8. Reboot the system
9. Done
BUG
Do not ever do WIPE DATA/FACTORY
RESET after installing JellyMOD Rv1.0
Dont Forget to Backup your Rom first,
to avoid something undesirable

hey buddy i flashed the deodex file in recovery mode & installed jelly mod my status bar and dialer tab has gone...pplzz help me....
ReplyDeleteObviously your rom was not Deodexed properly or maybe you wipe Cache before or after flashing.if you create a backup restore then flash jelly mode again,properly. Reply when you try the above so I can further if needed.

ReplyDeleteMy concern is the kernel supports iptable, so I can use firewall apps like Droidwall properly. What happen to Galaxy Pocket is that the kernel doesn't allow the firewall to blocking apps from accesing internet data.
I've tried both Repencis and MakDroid, the firewall doesn't work on both of them.

ReplyDeleteYes it will work on makdroid 3.and no need for deodex because makdroid 3 is already deodex.

ReplyDeleteFor you to restore rom,you have to create a backup of the rom via cwm recovery.In the restore and backup option in cwm

ReplyDelete@ Anonymous and others who lost dailer and staus bar as a result of flashing app,if you have a backup before restore via cwm.but if you dont have a backup before just flash another rom.i suggest makdroid v2 bcos it is very stable and it is more like stock rom.thanks.

ReplyDeleteHow can I put it back to factory default? Coz there is a big problem with it. Everytime I install apps from the apps store it uses the device memory. Even it says that's its installed in the sd card. Its eating the device memory!! Can install anymore.! Plss help me.
